Shooting Old School Analogue with Photographer Jared O'sullivan

I miss the romance and the art of working in the darkroom. I spent many a nights printing until the wee hours of the morning. It was zen experience in a way. There's something magical about watching the latent image slowly appear on the photo paper.

Follow Jared as he shoots with his trusty old Pentax, loaded with Black and white film, around the streets of downtown Sydney and later when he heads back to his darkroom to make some prints.  Enjoy!

In the Darkroom with Master Printer Toshio Saito

Toshio Saito is one of the last film printers in Japan and the only with a medal of honor. Saito San brought contemporary Japanese photography onto the worlds stage when he did the printing for MoMA's legendary 1974 New Japanese Photography show. He printed for the likes of Ken Domon, Shomei Tomatsu and Daido Moriyama.
